This is YOUR Story

What gets in the way?  What is stopping you from doing the things that you want to do?  

For many of us, the answer is ourselves. 

Here’s a tip to get over that hurdle:

Everyone does things their own way, because no one has a monopoly on the “Right Way”.  

Think about it.  Literature, art, and music are some of the most meaningful ways of expressing ourselves and the human condition.  When one author, or artist copies another, it is looked down upon, scorned, or even considered a crime.

Being an individual, having your own voice, this is what's important; this is what changes lives. 

So, give it a try, whatever it is.  Who cares what it looks like?  

Jodi Picoult said that, “Everyone has a book inside of them - but it doesn't do any good until you pry it out.”. 

The thing is that we are the ones who must do the prying.  So, get to it!  

Start your story.  Begin your great work.  Do it because only you can.  Be brave, be bold, but most importantly, be yourself when you do it.  

Life is fleeting and no one really knows what the hell they are doing anyway.
